Mark your calendars for July 28th and September 29th and make plans now to get your pets vaccinated at Petco on Loop 281 in Longview. Dr. Nazzal-Hobbs will be on site from noon to 2 p.m. to provide vaccinations for your cats and dogs.
"This is a great opportunity for people to get their pets vaccinated quickly and affordably," stated Roxanne Hutson, Executive Director of the Humane Society of Northeast Texas. "It's so important for pets to be vaccinated annually, but many people either don't have the time or the money. With these great vaccination clinics, there's no excuses!"
Puppies and kittens should receive 3 sets of vaccinations, beginning at about 6 weeks of age, to protect them from potentially lethal diseases. All dogs and cats are required by local ordinances to be vaccinated against rabies annually, and should receive their first rabies vaccination at about 4 months of age.
Dr. Nazzal-Hobbs generously donates a portion of the proceeds from each vaccination clinic to the Humane Society. For more information, please contact the animal shelter at 903-297-2170. |
