| Welcome Kerry! May 29, 2009 | | The Humane Society of Northeast Texas gained a new 2-legged 'resident' this week with the addition of Kerry Dawson as Director of Operations. Kerry comes to us from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where her background is rooted in sales, marketing and animal rescue volunteerism. She is a devoted animal lover and advocate, and is fully committed to serving the animals we care for, as well as the community we live in. Kerry will reside in Longview with her two adopted Great Danes, 'Big Man' and 'Copper Penny'!
Kerry rounds out the new leadership at the Humane Society of Northeast Texas, and will focus on the operations of the animal shelter itself. Together with Rhonda Spitler, Interim Director, along with the devoted staff, the Humane Society of Northeast Texas will be implementing new programs and revamping current ones to ensure the animals we care for are afforded the best possible opportunities for adoption.
